GPL Replay Problem

by Timmy Ferrel » Mon, 05 Jan 2004 02:55:46

Hi All,
I ran into another problem while running GPL under
XP.
When I view a replay, I can watch the entire file but upon completion I get
a error report and asks me if I would like to send a report to Microsoft. I
have to soft boot to get out of the program and get back to desktop.
I am runnong XP Home Edition with a P4 2.6 Gig; 64 Mb video card.
Any suggestions?
TIA, Timmy

What does the error report say (ie which program/app crashed)?

As a first resort try running scandisk to see if you have any corrupt
files or drivers.

Assuming you run gpl in D3D, try running dxdiag (it's in your WINNT folder
or just go start, run, dxdiag) to see if there is a problem with directx.

Do you have any other games you can reproduce the error with?

Malc.

Not heard of that one before but you might want to have a look through
the GPL FAQ at race sim central
http://forum.racesimcentral.com/showthread.php?t=105748
They've also got excellent and extensive GPL forums where all the big
addons get released.
