Found this game in the discount bin for $5.00. Anyone have it or tried it
before? Looks good on the box, but I've never played it.

Definetly worth 5 bucks. Was worth it when I paid $29.00 :-)

Yep, just installed it and ran a few time trials. It's fun. There seems to
be a glitch or skip or something, not really a frame rate problem, don't
know how to describe it. I'll play with the settings and see if I can
correct it.

There is a patch or two that addressed controller issues and others.

It's currently the best Rally Sim you can get.  Good catch!

OK Rally Trophy is no GPL, nor John Kennedy, but after seeing a post about a
$5.00 Rally Trophy I decided to dig it out of the ba***t and dust it off
for a run. After patching ,I wanted to unlock all cars, courses and expert
mode by entering KALJAKOPPA as a name and it didn't work?  Anyone know the
secret? After playing a bit I remembered why it was in the ba***t in the
first place. It does have pretty graphics and about the best damage model I
have ever seen, but falls a few fries short of a happy meal.

good.

Also, if you're lucky enough to be in a town with a Half Price Books
location, they've had several copies here (Cincinnati) for $7 recently.

I bought it a long time ago when it came out. I am sure you can find one on
ebay

I just got it off eBay for $2.25 plus $3.85 shipping.
I think it's pretty cool.

1) Remember to type it in caps (I guess you did that already)
2) Press enter (don't click with the mouse) and ..
3) .. "KALJAKOPPA" switches to your previous name.
4) Enable expert mode and you're all set!

Btw, kaljakoppa means a case of beer in finnish. In case someone didn't know
that already. :)
