You're pulling 186 s at Michigan. Nice for some. 185 is the
best I have ever done and that was during practice.
Only 180-182 during a race.

I recently downloaded a setup for Michigan (sorry, but I don't remember
exactly where it came from.... I've DL'd several over the past few days),
and with a little tweaking to compensate for my style,  I have been able
to consistently turn 188's with an occasional 189.... HOWEVER, this still
isn't good enough for Hawaii.  I was on there the other night, quite happy
mind you to qualify with a 188+, but as it turned out that was only good
enough for 5th.  The leaders qualified with 190's and 191's, and they
continued to run those speeds in the race... those guys were FAST.  Oh
well.... back to the garage.

That's funny- I'm doing 239.xx for qual and 31 second (23X.xx) laps in
the race...

You must be talking Nascar- if so, you might want to add that to the
thread, since I guess we share this track.

BTW, are all ICR2 guys finding it impossible to keep up with front
runners at 100%? I sure am. I don't know what else I can do to the
car, even with wings at absolute min. (3.0), they fly past me on the
straights...

Ya, I qualify first, no problem, but in the race, I can't keep up with
anybody. Sort of gets depressing... But I still want to keep with
Michigan until sunday

Jeeze... sunday is going to be a busy day. F1 at 8 AM, ignoring
Indy500 at 11:00, then the real race at 2:00 at Michigan... talk about
a full racing day!

If you can't keep up with the other cars at MIS, change the RELS number in
MICHIGAN.TXT to a lower value.

There's no F1 race this Sunday.

Oh well, I guess I misread ESPN. I thought they raced in Spain
sunday... when is (was?) it?

Great! I love 24 hour races!!

...Just kidding!

ya, I'll probably watch that too.

BTW, I've been informed in this thread that I am wrong about the next
F1 race- it's on June 2nd. We'll just have to wait until then for
another expertly executed half-lap by Schumacher.

Does this equally affect qualifying and raceday?  I too am very frustrated that
at Indy (ICR2 - track conversion) I qualify at 233 which puts me on the pole,
but get BLOWN AWAY during the race -- they must be going about 240!  What gives?

Any way to adjust this in the .txt file?
