Michigan help needed!

by Jay » Fri, 02 Sep 1994 01:18:38

Hello,

Finally broke the 240 barrier today at Michigan.  240.069 to be exact.

But the modifications I was making to get to 240 are all maxed!

I am running full stagger and rear shock stiffness with no front shock
stiffness at all.

I beleive this stagger and shock valving is where my problem arises.  This
setup just doesn't look right.

I am running a Buick in a Penske chassis with 3.10 gearing.

frt spoiler 3.12
rt  spoiler 3.00

Thanks,
Jay

I wouldn't be disappointed with 240+!  I've almost reached 242 myself, but
that speed just isn't practical in a race.  You'll find your setup needs
changes to drive properly in the race, so hold on to that car and make it race
 worthy!
