I have a question: where did you find these pics?  Were they on the net or in
a magazine?  The pics look great (thanks for posting them), but I'd like to
read any accompanying article.

besides the pics I posted earlier from Next generation magazine,
incorrectly as nascar 99, the next
gen article states a few things:
-the team is fairly confident it will have 19 tracks, barring any
licensing problems - no Daytona, sega still has the rights.
-BGN expansion pack may be available, adding another 12-14 tracks
-Matson hopes to augment the nascar experience by including 2 qualifying

sessions, practice sessions and happy hour
-visual enhancements:
16 bit textures
new light source techniques, for instance, specular highlights on cars
particle systems are also in place to provide fantastic sparking and
smoke effects as well as dirt clumps which will stick to vehicles that
stray from the track

I also noticed that the rear deck(trunk) had a Papyrus logo on it, so we

may be able to put graphics there. It's hard to see from the shots I
posted but you can make them out.
