I see so thrustmaster are solving non-existent problems! How do you know they
solve them quickly if they don't exist. And if they don't exist what are we
talking about? :-)

He said that Thrustmaster didn't cause the problems... not that they
didn't exist...

Here's an example... after two years of hard use, I managed to break a
hat switch on my Thrustmaster F22Pro joystick. I called them up and told
them about it, and a new hat switch arrived in my mailbox four days
later. Thrustmaster didn't cause that problem, but they fixed it.

I've had great service from Thrustmaster in the past. Replacement parts have
always come quickly (and I'm in Australia).

However...

It unfortunately seems that the great service only runs as far as sending
replacement parts. When I had a recent problem with my Thrustmaster
equipment not working with my new PC, I had one brief e-mail reply from
them, which didn't help. Since then they seem to be totally ignoring my
e-mails.

As long as you only need parts from them - you shouldn't have any problem.

I had the same experience, within a week and a half, I had a brand new
GP1 wheel (without base) to replace my faulty one. Better service from
the US than from a Dept Store!

What seems to be the problem?
Maybe it's your PC and not the wheel?

If you have a problem with calibration, go to their web site
and download a program called"TMScope". It's located in
their tech support section. It's corrected my calibration
problem of my GP1 in ICR2.

TMScope is a Utility for viewing the output of your controls. ProPanel is
probably the program you're referring to that helped with your
calibration issues.

No, I tried all the latest software/drivers/etc. The basic problem was that
the fire button was not recognised when pressed - which made calibration
(and game play) impossible. I tried with four different game ports (on sound
cards, motherboard and dedicated card) without any luck.

There's obvoiusly something in my PC which doesn't agree with the TM sticks
(all my other joysticks work fine - and I've got a few), which is why I
wrote to TM for help. Unfortunately, as I said - I haven't heard a peep out
of them.  ):

Anyway - I came up with a solution without there help. I sold the TM sticks
and bought a Sidewinder FF. It's nowhere near as functional as the FLCS, but
at least it works.
