Hi all,
    I just dl'd the patch and Mods for N2003. I've taken a few laps in the
Busch series but I've spent more time with the NCTS. I've noticed a
significant frame rate drop at the tracks I've run at. (Papyrus, California,
Daytona Nashville, Darlington) It's on the order of 40 -50 + FPS to 18 FPS.
Has anyone else experienced this? It never occured in the original game. I
tried going from 32 bit to 16 bit (although keeping the 1024X720 resolution)
but had no real improvement.
    Of the tracks I've run so far Darlington seems to have the least drop
off.
    I'm running a P4 2.8 Gig
    64 MB Video card with the latest Nvidea driver.
    Any thoughts?

IMO, both mods (NCTS, BGN) are a little more fps hungry than the WC that
came with the game.  But not by much, I lost maybe 5 fps on avg, if that.

I and other have notice some major drops typically coming off turn 4 at most
tracks.
You may want to try and turn off opponent pitscrews.  It might help.

this comment is dead-on, i've got an old rig but i've been racing the trucks
around dover the past few days and last night i tried turning off the
opponent pitcrews to get some much needed fps down the front straight...i
went from an unbearable 16 to a playable 27 on the front straight.

   Did you dload and install the hi rez version or the standard...and what
64mb vid card...there are soooo many nvidia models, it does help if we know
which ones...
