GPL: Erase impossible lap times?

by Ian Wrigh » Thu, 21 Jan 1999 04:00:00

Can someone help with this,
I have a few impossible lap times that have been caused by warping in
GPL online.  I want to erase the lap record for certain tracks like
monza, someone did 4 seconds there.
Also is it possible to erase just certain track records for my personal
best laps, as I have done an amazing 1:04.xx at monza and 0:00.17 at
Monaco.
Wolfgang Woeger has the Nurburgring record (on my computer) with
8:03.xx  -  That can't be right  ;-) Yeah, only joking.

Thanks,

Ian

To delete a track record, just delete the record.ini file on the
gpl\tracks\trackname directory.

You own best laps is stored in gpl\players\yourname\player.ini file. Just
delete the lines with wrong lap times.

Hope this helps.

A better idea yet is make a spreadsheet or just a plain old word document to
keep track of your fast laps (and others if you care to).  I do this so that if
by some chance GPL looses lap data or someone in an online race set a toime of
say 4 seconds i can just delete em all without forgetting my best ever at a
certian track
