I guess if you have the frame rate set to the min it could be true, other
than that,it's not a question of whether we think your a liar,we know
you are.

How can he say dont take this wrong...***y pee nut. I would take
this guy on as in the computer store here I tested a 200mmx machine
out as I want to buy one. and it had a Diamond 3d 2000 4meg and 32 meg
ram. Anyway GP2 loves CPU power so I gave it all GP2 had. SVGA and at
Monarco 100% in all the buildings. That *** better cough up with the

Congratulations!

BTW - a benchmark that I use when messing about with overclocking is to
go to Monaco with SVGA, all details, 25.6fps & see what the steady state
PO is whilst sitting at the back of the grid. Any chance that you could
post this figure?

Cheers,
Richard

You bring your Aborigine little ass over here and I'll shove that
*** somewhere. :-)  If GP2 loves CPU power(I agree), then tell me
why an overclocked p200/83 can't come close to his estimates.  I
mailed him and asked him for some Cbench numbers, and I'll he can say
is 'believe it or not'.  And please don't call me a pee nut :-)

Next time try it with some other cars eg. a race and at 25.6fps

Well, it's not surprising even if your system performance doesn't come
close to his since the CPU speed doesn't mean a lot if other components
in your system fall short. There's big differences between those
well-made, well-tweaked PCs and those less optimized PCs.

Now it comes: how many fps did you select? I guess 15-16 or something. THAT
could be possible.

Personally, I'd like to hear your PO with 21fps selected.

Check it out!

Thats it. You hit the nail on the head. Besides there is a lot of
experts out there that have know idea how to set their machine for
optimum performance..

Number one. I am not an Aborigine. Number two I dont think you would
be able to put that *** anywhere..:-) . Ok back to your opinion. You
have made a fair coment there. One of my friends has a setup close to
yours. He has an Abit M/B running a p200 at 83 mhz. Like you he could
not come close to those figures which is as you would agree Bullshit
for such a power machine. I have a p133 which I play in vga all
details on. After a while and some fiddleing I found the secret to
better frames. Use the ESTIMATE. Trust me you try it and you will get
a huge increase. I can play on my p133 now in svga BUT I have to turn
down the detail a bit so know go BUT on a 200/83 know problems and the
mmx 200 at the shop it was even better. All detail on and SVGA. Using
frame estimate. Others might try using what I have said to...

Oh about saying your a pee nut
But you did say the other guy was a liar to his face.
That was uncalled for just as calling you a pee nut was un called
for..:-)

How about checking out some results at
http://volftp.tin.it/GP2/gp2bench.htm, even a 233MMX running at
292Mhz/83 can just barely be under 100%.  And that is at MONZA, with
only 19.6fps.  I am sorry, but no matter how 'Well Built' your system
is, it is impossible.  I would still like to see some Cbench #'s from
this guy, but he seems to have disappeared!  I wonder why?

        I will be going from a P166, 512K burst, Matrox 2MB WRAM, to a
P200MMX, 512K burst, same video. I'll post the results after the
change. I will try and overclock the shit out of the processor, just
for grins.

I have just bought a AMD K6 200MMX and i have just discovered a new
game -> GP2 in SVGA -> IT IS GREAT !!!!!!!!!
I have 25,6 frames with everyting on !
Ans more than 25,6 frames with no sky and mirrors
The smooth of the game is fantastic, it just fly's in SVGA.
I have 32 EDO RAM and a great Matrox Mystique 4MB videocard.
