Papyrus and saving

Yes, I think Papy should have a save game feature in all it's products.
 And here is why...
Years ago, when I thought playing the stop-action game F1gp was
mult-player racing, I was going head to head with a buddy.  about 2/3rds
of the way into the race, my idiot ***ager son picked up my upstairs
phone and disconnected us.  Now, it wasn't a full race length by any
means, but we have to squeeze our modeming in between many commitments.
So kissing off 2/3rds of our race was, in effect, ending our session for
the night.
But in F1gp the program asked us both if we wanted to save since the
connection was terminated.  We both did, we called back re-established the
link, loaded up the saved-game and wha-la!  we were right back in our old
spots with all the same cars crowded around us.  (for me that meant I was
staring at one of Monaco's sharp left hander's near the end of the lap,
instant turn or nose job!)
Thats my reason, modem connections are not always maintained, and like
others have said, we like the STRATEGY of a long race,(can I say strategy
in a Sim newsgroup) but often cannot dedicate the time needed to enjoy
such a session.
I once took 2 months to finish an ICR2 race.  But I did.
Use F1gp's save race as a model and explore the possiblity of adding
such a feature to all your products.  Thanks
Dave Henrie
