I am able to use Nascar in MS-DOS mode, but my question is when you
exit the game does it always reboot the system?  Is there a way for it
to go back to Win 95?  Thanks for any help.

I always thought it goes back to Windows (95) automatically after
Nascar (after rebooting).

If you want to run Nascar in Windows, find the Nascar.pif (shortcut to
Nascar), right click on it, select "properties", "Program" tab, check
the "Close on exit tab", click on the "Advanced" button (still in the
"Program" tab), then UNCHECK the "MS Dos mode" box.

The reboot process seems to part of the procedure required for WIN95 to get
back into its native mode. I have several DOS games configured under WIN95 and
they all reboot before and after they run.

and DOS re-boot, that I simply made a boot disk.  Now mny computer boots
directly to DOS ==> ICR2, never smelling that ugly Win95 at all.

I know, that's why I posted this work around.  NO msdos mode
needed and no boot disks.  Run NASCAR under a Window in WIN95.

By definition, _this_ must make NASCAR run slower.  I guess it's a
question of ease of use or running the program at max speed.

I have a semi-fast computer and I don't mind playing under Winblows 95.  It
allows me to run other programs in the background as well (CD player, etc.)...

It definetly does slow things down.  I usually have ALL graphics
enabled, but under windows I had to turn off a few things.
