I think that I would be best starting with the original game and
I would like it on 3.5" disks.  While I have been searching for it, I
haven't yet found it.  If anyone knows where the original 3.5" disk
game WITH manual can be purchased, please let me know.

That does depend where you live...

In the UK, you can get it from Special Reserve for about 12 (that's
where I got my copy) - or I think Dixons might sell it for roughly the
same price, under some sort of "Classic" brand. You can also buy a
kind of sports pack, which includes GP1, plus a number of other, you
guessed it, sports games.

Hope this helps.

Btw, does anyone know of a program that can emulate a C64 with SCR?
(or if I can get a copy of Stunt Car Racer for my PC??)

I cant say that I have seen Stunt Car Racer on the PC, but I know, a
certain Mr Crammond, is said to be working on a similar project right
now, using the GP2 engine, so expect to see that in the shops, near the
year 2000, with major advertised options missing......

You might still be able to get hold of a copy of Stunt Car for the PC.
My copy was on the Kixx budget label. I really wouldn't recommend it
though, the conversion wasn't done by Geoff & it is in really poor EGA
four colour graphics :(

More to the point, does anyone know of a BBC Micro (or alternatively a
C64) emulator with a copy of Revs? I would really love to try the old
Silverstone layout again <g>
