GP3 2001 carset install. How?

by Lutrel » Mon, 05 Mar 2001 03:50:27

I downloaded the 2001 carset for GP3 and unzipped it so now I have a file
called "2001carset_go.GP3" .
I don't see how to install this file and there is no readme.
How do I install it?
Thanks,
Lutrell

You need to grab 'GP3Edit' - it's a fantastic program for importing and
exporting just about everything you've ever wanted to edit in GP3 in one go.

www.alphaf1.com/gp3 have is somewhere!!

You'll also need a GP3 unloocker - also available there

OK, the ulocker is the decryptor?
It sure would be nice if they had a readme or simple install.

GP3 2001 carset install. How?

by Lutrel » Mon, 05 Mar 2001 09:30:12

I found an "unlocker" for GP3. I used the GP3 Decrypter. Found it here.
http://grandprix3.com/software.php3?op=viewssoftware&sid=7&min=21
Unzipped the file and there is a readme in the "1.0"  folder.
Got GP3 unlocked (decrypted ?) and now I can use the GP3 editor
(gp3ed113.exe) to install my carsets. Just click on the "open carset icon"
,it looks like a folder open on the tool bar.
