Sorry to hear you don't like it Todd. As for you damage question, there is
no engine failures in the retail version, but this is something we're
investigating.

Its not growing on me at all.
Does anyone know if the damage in the full version includes blowing
engines. I just did a full fast lap without using the brake, simply by
slamming the gears down while holding my foot flat. This kind of takes the
fun out of it. Also you cant go that fast around corners. Ive seen the incar
cam at Laguna, the corner after the corkscrew is very touchy they go
throught there feathering the throttle in 3 or 4, just like in ICR2. In CPR
Im in 5 and dont back of at all, same with the corner before the corkscew.
The head panning is a dog, that lasted as long as it took me to find the
button to turn it of, Its not looking into the corner its just scrolling the
screen.
And as for the graphics has anyone here played moto racer. It uses D3D and
thats what I was expecting this to be like.
This is not the race sim Ive been waiting for, so its back to waiting for
the next one, Papyrus  GPL , hopefully.
 Todd.

After managing to get the car stable, i'm actually starting to enjoy
the demo, but 4 laps c'mon please what are we supposed to do with
that, give us a patch that will allow us to really test the demo. My
own gripes are that it's a bit on the Dark side, the ai cars seem to
blend into the tracks, and it all looks a bit arcadey rather than sim.
But i'll persevere for a bit, another track in the demo would have
been nice.

We've heard several people mention that the sim is dark and it's difficult
to see the other cars. For now, you can try setting image quality to better
instead of best, or adjust your card's gamma setting to make things brighter
(some of the card drivers let you do that).

We've heard the feedback that this (and clipping distance) should be easier
to adjust from within the sim UI. We're investigating options to address
that.
