Nascar2 and Ensoniq

Hey gang...

Has anyone else had a problem with Nascar2 and an Ensoniq  PCI sound card?
The card works great with all of my other games, but with N2, I get a horrid
screeching noise.  I reinstalled N2, have the latest patches and drivers.
Still that strange noise.  Anyone else?

I have an Ensoniq PCI and set it to Soundblaster compatible mode using the
Nascar 2 setup program.  Works fine for me that way.  I get alI kinds of
strange sounds if I set it to ensoniq instead of soundblaster.

Thanks to everyone who  responded...  I just went to Sound Setup and picked
SB Stereo and skipped the test.  Works great now!!  Now, I'm of to get a
couple of car sets...
