For those that have this wheel, can you unhook the pedals and just
have the wheel plugged into the usb port?  I wanna get this wheel but
would like to use a different set of pedals.   I don't have a lot of
room under the desk.

My MS wheel allows me to disconnect the pedals completely.  I heard
some wheel setups like the logitech require the pedals to be plugged
in to work since they usb connector is on the pedals.

I had one of these.  The pedals were the worse ever made I think.  Damn near
straight up and down!  When you extended the swivel all the way, the pedals
were HORIZONTAL!

Because of this I never really got to use the wheel much.  Couldn't afford
the physical therapy my feet would have needed.  I think I kept it in the
box for a couple of years, then one day got tired of looking at it and
tossed it in the trash.

Check on the software.  The last time I looked, it hadn't been updated in
years and was highly problematic.

I ended up taking the roller pedals from my T1 and mounted em on the
Andretti.  Made a huge difference.  Also had to mount a plate near the top
most throw so as to avoid the deadspot.  100% agreement on your assesment
Larry :)

I'll dig mine out and try the wheel with the AL perf pedals and get back at
ya tommorow checkmysig..

I wanna get them just for the steering wheel.  Do you know if you have
to have the pedals hooked up inorder for it to work?  I want to use
just plug up the steering wheel portion.

I don't remember the details, but they were interconnected.
