NASCAR 2002 and Framerate.....

Hi Guys,
I 've just patched my Nas2002 to the latest patch, and I have a framerate
hit...what's the fix, I know it involves patching from the cd an old
file..which one..??

Copy the file from the CD called "rend_d3d.dll" into your N2002 directory.
Actually the first thing they recommended it to disable vsync and if that
doesn't work, then copy in this file.  I believe this is only an issue for
D3D.

  it is being looked at by Papyrus, but if you have a Nvidia based card, you
will most likely see higher faster framerates by using the opengl video.
It's been updated to match the texture compression that is used with d3d so
you 'shouldn't' have a problem with blurry textures.
