NASCAR Legends 2 it is then ;)
Am I right in thinking that's somewhere near the days of thunder era,
without restrictor plates and the like ?
Bring it on !

That's just a cheap way to inflate sales... :-(

That's why you use the F2 screen.  You maintain the same seperation until you
get to the pit wall.  If you get a BF that means you passed him before you hit
pit in.  *That* rule is realistic.  NASCAR does it the same way - you can't
pass the car you were following.

>> Ability to stall when using manual clutch.

>Would be neat, but noobs would find a reason to complain about it. Besides,

Even if they ran short tracks/road courses, would a newbie *really* use manual
clutch?  I don't think so.  That's reserved for those *** racers who want
to immerse themselves as much as possible.  So, the people who *would* use it
aren't gonna complain...

>Buyers only allowed 1 online name tied to CD key

This one I disagree with, as long as there are open servers.  Some people don't
have the schedule to join a league.  Or someone might have one ID for leagues,
and another for open servers.  I don't have a problem with someone doing this,
even though I haven't done it myself.

I like the rest of your list, though.

Drivers climbing out of the car on fire.

Drunk hick chicks flashing.

Two hour wait in the car trying to get out of the parking lot after the
"race".

Sunburn from sitting in a grandstand like an idiot!

Was it supposed to be longer than 9:36?  That's all I got.  Great stuff,
though...<g>

How about being able to place myself on the grid where ever I want? I'd like
to be on the pole without having to go through qualifying, just to see if i
can stay up front.

Nope, still a bit limited in my knowledge of editing tools, not to
mention it's hard to find the time, so that's all there is for now I'm
afraid

I would like to see all of the pit crews on pit road.
I would like the pit crew to continue to repair damage as long as I am
willing to sit in the pits and wait.
I would like the bogus black flags removed.
I would like the ability to have selective repair options  (Nose, Rear,
ect....)
I would like the contact with other cars addressed.  You can roll slowly and
touch another car and send them flying.
the contact version from the Trucks was way better.
I would like to see cars that are on the tail end of the lead lap yet are
still behind the pace cars be allowed to restart
    in the outside line.
I would like someway where you do not have to have hundreds of cars on your
computer to see the car skins of
   other competitors.

I would like to NOT have to buy a Sim every year that has NO real improvements
over the previous version but only what I would consider to be bug fixes, window
dressing and updated car files ( which I can download or do myself).  Take 2
years and do it right.  I do not want Nascar games to follow the road of other
sports and have a new version every year (alla EA Sports Madden 1999,2000,2001
en infinity!).  I am getting dissappointed in Papy-rra as they appear to be
becoming greedy and heading down that road.  Shame.  And if you are going to
give me anything next time Give me a way to import my car files from the
previous version!
