If you must leave the velcro walls in place, turning them off for league
racing would be a plus.
Or at least give the admins the ability to 'clear' them again like we could
in N3.
Seems ok, but really running no yellows at a roadie seems to work quite well
online.
And again, be able to clear yellows if they weren't needed. We could do this
in N3, I swear.
(I don't dislike the NASCAR series from Papy, but enough is enough ! ;)

1: 1985 NASCAR cars?
2: 1985 NASCAR tracks?
3: 1985 NASCAR rules?
I like my racecars to have fenders... I can't help it I was born that way.

I agree with just about everything you posted. My take:
This might be out of the question for future versions, but I would like to
see a career mode. Further expanding on the idea, it would be neat to have a
'true' career mode where you get to start out at dirt tracks or whatever,
then move your way up to Craftsman Truck Series, Busch then to Winston, etc.
I remember a pretty old PC game (Andretti title, maybe?) and thought it was
one helluva idea.
If Papy has the physics for it (N2002 and GPL code), then it could happen
some day...but I won't hold my breath. Besides, I can always dream. :-)

AI needs a *LOT* of work and I would like to see them fix the issue with
pitting under yellow. If you pit and the guy you are supposed to stay
behind doesn't, they will black flag you sometimes currently because you
cross the S/F line in front of that driver so the game thinks that you
passed under yellow.
Other than that, there is really not a lot they can do to improve it.
