Com4 is not accessed by your startup routine unless there is a valid
request. Even if you tinker with it, Com4 will always be shifted to 3 in
deference to 4. You should use com2 for this purpose. Incidentally, You
can't use com3 because F1gp uses IRQ 4 by default (the same as your
mouse), and this can't be adjusted. If you have a device on com2 already,
you must remove your mouse & config.sys mouse info, or move your com2
device to com3 with a different IRQ than 4.
