Geezee. Some months ago this newsgroup was full of these damn GPL
framerate posts. I come back here 8-9 months after and it's exactly
the same boring GPL stuff. I think a new newsgroup is needed.

Give me a break. This game is good but not that great. It needs a lot
of power to run. This is too hard. Realistic? LOL A real car is not
that hard to drive...even a formula 1.

1st off, it is tough to drive them because you don't get the real feedback
you should be getting. So if the game isn't that great, why are people
still posting stuff about it? I mean if the game sucked real bad then I
doubt it would get all this attention. Its not like these people are
getting paid to post messages about the game.

Almost everyone in this NG must surely agree
GPL sucks
Far too hard

Well, in a strange way this guy is right. I liked NFS3 a lot, but never
played it ever again after buying GPL. Is suddenly seemed to arcade to me. I
bought NFS-HS, but only played is 2 or 3 times, still to arcade. As a result
i can throw away all my racing games except GPL, even GP2.

But I do not think that the current F1 cars are so easy to drive, but that
only the simulations are not accurate enough. I'd like to see a 1999 Ferrari
with its correct physics modeled in the GPL engine.

When was the last time you drove a Formula 1 car? When was the last time you
