F1RS and Voodoo3

In order to prepare for Imola, I reinstalled F1RS on my computer.
However, the game doesn't seem to work with my Voodoo 3 2000 AGP. The
3dfx version of the game gets installed, but when I doubleclick on the
F1RS button, the game doesn't load. There is some HDD activity, but
the game screen does not appear. If I install the f1rs109v patch, the
machine locks up ***ce I start the program.

Is there any way to make F1RS run on this machine?

AMD K6-2 400
128 MB
V3 2000 AGP (driver dated 07-20-1999)
SB Live! Value
Win98 (original version)
DirectX 6.1

F1RS and Voodoo3

I have F1RS installed on my machine and it worked fine until the Voodoo 3.
I can get the game to run on my machine but it does not run in real time.
The game runs about 50% too fast and is completely unplayable.  I have heard
that this common problem with F1RS and the Voodoo 3.  So even if you get the
game to load you probably will still not be able to play it.

If anyone has a fix to that makes F1RS work on a Voodoo 3, please let me
know.
