Well damn, why do you think I went to all the trouble to post about it? I
was obviously trolling for such jokes.
Check out the Russian 586th Fighter regiment. It's founder Major Marina
Raskova was killed in combat in 1943 and received the first state funeral
granted by the Russians since the begining of the war.
Check out the 588th Night Bomber unit as well. These women flew night
bombing raids, in the Russian winter, in surplus * open***pit* planes.
Truely remarkable, thus I have remarked on it. Never underestimate a
babushka defending the homeland.
