SODA and controller

Just got SODA and can't get my controller to work!  I've got a Thrustmaster T2
that I've been using as two controllers.  That is without the converter and I
don't think you can configure it in WIn95 without the converter.  It works
great in N2, ICR2, and GP2.  Am I going to have to put in the converter and
reconfigure all my other sims to use SODA?  I'm particularly hesitant about
GP2 as I seem to recall it wanted two controller and it's always been a ***
to get calibrated!

Anyone got any ideas for me?  Please!

Thanks in advance,

Don,
Thanks to Michael Carver's suggestion I got mine to work by deleting any
other joysticks from "Game Controllers" in the Control Panel (which also
zapped my Joystick from TM Pro Panel), reset T2 as item #1, Then calibration
works in W95 & in SODA. When I was trying to calibrate in SODA w/o T2 or
TMNPW being #1 setting, it was giving me really goofy feedback i.e. Steer
Left=joystick 2 upshift=Joy 1 button 5 (???). Dunno if my joystick will
re-cal & work in FlightSim98. Guess I'll know as soon as I can take a break
from SODA Demo & BGN Tracks ;-))).

Technically Win95 doesn't care whether you have the converter plugged in
or not.  It is the Win95 programs that seem to need the converter.  That
is why DOS programs run in DOS boxes in Win95 will work fine without the
converter.  I am not positive about SODA, but try calibrating within the
game.  If it won't see the wheel, get Thrustmaster's ProPanel and
install it (ftp://208.129.210.78/pub/library/propanel.exe).  Set up your
wheel as Device ID #1.  Try it without and with the converter.

If you need the converter in Win95, look into getting a joystick
extension cable.  This way you can have the joystick "port" at the end
of the cable and no more reaching around the back of the computer to
remove or install the converter.  When you run a DOS program, pull the
converter, and when you need it for a Win95 program just pop it in
between the end of the extension cable and your T2 plug.
