NASCAR 2 -CAUTIONS

OK, I normally try not to add to all the clutter, but if someone has
brought this up, I've missed it....Here's my two cents for NASCAR 2 and it
has to do with cautions. First a user adjustable yellow flag sensitivity
seems to make a lot of sense. You could set it so road course don't
caution as much or so nothing but a major wreck brings out the yellow in
case you want get a quick one in without 20 minutes of yellow. All we need
is three or four levels, but more would be nice...And, (and this is
VITAL!) how about a race accelerator for caution periods! You make your
pit stop, or decide to pass on the pits, hit a key and instantly go to the
final caution lap. Just deduct the extra lap or two from the total. Make
it so we decide when to go, in case you want to play some strategy games
with the yellows. But I certainly would like to see an end to three laps
under caution after my stop.....Hope these are at least semi-intelligent
and do-able suggestions.

So, if you decide to skip a yellow flag stop, are you forcing the AI cars to
do the same thing?

AGREED! Gameplay is EVERYTHING -- Top priorities for standalone MUST be
in the AI, and the realism with yellows, etc.  It absolutly sucks when I
tap someone at Sears Point, no accident.. but I have to take 3 yellow laps.

I usually just quit... it is ridiculous.

Another good idea for the road courses is for PARTIAL COURSE yellows
like they do on the real road courses...Would that be possible...and
remember...In NASCAR, yellows only come out, even partial course ones,
if someone has a pretty *** accident and cant get moving again.
When I play that course, I just turn the yellows off all together as the
computer wrecks would never realistically bring one out since they
going again so fast.
