George M. Smiley's 3dfx patch... Anyone Have a copy?

by btgos » Wed, 26 Sep 2001 05:23:48

I am going to take Joachim's advice and install this patch on my machine for
improved GPL framerate/image quality.
However I can't find it.
Would anyone have a working link?
All seem to point to the the-fastlane.com which is no longer around.
Have they partnered with another site?
Thanks for any help.

The big thing the patch does is allow you draw the mirrors every 2nd
frame or whatever you choose.

Check out the glide.ini(?) file that the patch puts in your GPL folder
for more details.

Jason.

http://home.swbell.net/gmsmiley, it's called the GPL Patch-o-matic. I used
it with my Voodoo3 with great results, until I upgraded to GF2 Ultra.

Thank you, Jason--yes, it's there's a Glide.ini file that needs a tweak or
two, not the core.ini.
