Hi,

I'm a great fan of GTR and I drive since the beginning, my version is GTR
2002 with patch 12. But today I read about GT Racing 2002 v. 1.0 [Hungarian
SimWorld]. Is this a new version? If it is, can I use both?

Since it is version 1.0 and you already have the patch that takes 1.0 to
1.2, so therefore there was a version 1.0 in the beginning....

As far as I can tell, it's just the same mod, except the original
release version.

I asked this, because I thought, GT mod was based on 1997 cars. In
bhmotorsports, it reads like the hungarians have 2002 cars inside. This
would be a welcome update?

GTR is officially called GTR 2002 or GT Racing 2002. So you can
probably guess from the name that the cars featured are from the 2002
season. Now there IS a BPR 96 mod that has just been released. It has
been done by a separate group and is very good, the cars featured in that
mod are from 1996. You'll find that many upcomming mods will examine cars
either from a specific year, or a certain time perios. Especially as the
mod makers migrate from F1 2k2 to F1 Career Challenge, which has built in
support for at least 4 years or eras.
