RBR - Pacenotes - Rythim

Hi everyone,

Loving RBR.  Great Sim.  But I"m having a problem getting to grips with the
pacenotes.  Not sure why.  Driving the car isn't a problem.  When I know the
stage I"m really fast.

I just find it hard to drive with the pacenotes.  I've driving all of the
Colin Burns games / sims, and didn't find them that hard.  Is there
something I can do to make things easier?  Does anyone change the pacenotes
pace?  Earlier?  Later?

Would love to know,

Thanks,

James

I run the pacenotes a step or 2 earlier to make up for the 5-10% of
calls that are designed too 'late' in the game.  this of course makes
others a bit early, but it's the best compromise for me.  I also use the
numeric pacenotes mod, which simplifies things for me.  You're right
though, the pacenotes are a bit shoddy.

bhmotorsports.com
not sure if it's in the files section or not, but a quick search of the
forum will have it...

"Colin Burns" is the result of Mr. Burns and Ms. McRae getting together? :)

I agree that the timing seems a bit off sometimes.

Ah great that's the one thing I hate about RBR. I love it when Im told the gear I should be in for
the corner, it makes the game a lot easier. Thanks.

Brilliant!  Much prefer the numeric notes!  Now really enjoying RBR.  Just
did the UK rally without crashing out!  yay!

thanks all,

J
