First of all, let me say that GPL is an awesome sim. I haven't had a chance
to really get to know it yet, but I really like what I've seen so far. I do
have a couple wishes, though:
1) For Papyrus to put out an add-on to add the banked version of Monza. I
don't know how hard that would be, but wouldn't it be cool? I just have
visions of the movie Grand Prix going through my head.
2) Not having Jackie Stewert in the game sticks out like a sore thumb. How
hard would it be to hack him in? Cooper and Honda for that matter, as well.
3) And what about privateers? Every car/driver seems to be a factory effort.
I'm pretty sure that there were a few private entries in every race. Rob
Walker, for instance.
Oh well. The sim would still rock without these additions, but they're just
a thought.

wev'e been wishing for the banking for almost a year, keep wishing. as for
stewart, cooper and honda they have been hacked in. i don't recall quite
how but it was posted at the apex a week ago.   gpl.gamestats.com  as for
privateers and other driver "inaccuracies " as papy clearly says it is
modeled after the 67 era and with all the changes that took place
throughout the real season they simply settled on this.
there are a number of "inaccuracies but for me they are easy to overlook
because of the fantastic graphics and unbelievably fun yet difficult
driving physics model. enjoy.

That would be awesome. I was wondering myself why I couldn't find that
track from the movie anywhere in the game.

Technically, they didn't run on the banking at Monza in 1967. So, Papyrus is
being accurate. It would be a hell of a lot of fun, though.
