Post it to a web site somewhere so we can all try it.
Sid.

hurts when it isn't true :)
Put up some screenshots on a web page to prove it then.

It can't be as big as the original
demo...  If you really have it
then post it.

Post it to "alt.binaries.games" - do you know how to break down the file(s)
into smaller more magageable pieces? (If you use Forte Agent or FreeAgent,
it does it for you).

A file is never "too big" - I've downloaded entire games (200+ MB). It might
take a while, but it is usually worth it.

Assuming the demo is the same size as the previous CD version (60MB), just
zip it up. (The other demo was exactly the same as the internet version, but
the internet version had been zipped to 13mb).

Anyway, if you could spare a couple of hours uploading time (assuming you
don't have a cable modem like some lucky people), WE WOULD ALL BOW DOWN TO
YOU AND WORSHIP YOU.

We would be eternally grateful.

And btw, Joystick Magazine does NOT have the demo available yet on their
WebSite. I will be sure to let everyone know as soon as I find it..

Just an idea....  Can't you post the Monza track file alone, then all that
has to be done is to add the Monza track file to the existing tracks folder.

Thanks, Sim Racer..

I'm sorry.. I hadn't thought about the phone bill - I'm in Canada, and i'm
logged on pretty much 10-15 hrs a day, downloading stuff, etc. (can you say
warez!).. I don't pay a cent for the phone call.

Hadn't thought about it, but thanks anyway!!
We owe you large!!

Off topic, but of interest to cable modem shoppers - they're
only fast one way (downloading). You upload files (and send
your "clicks" and keystrokes) through your regular phone
line just like you do now...

over the cable.  No phone line is used.  Upstream bandwidth is
only about 15% of the downstream bandwidth.  Because of RF
interference from other devices in your house, the cable modem
must use a more robust (slower) transmission protocol for upstream
communication.  However, upload speeds are still much faster than
regular telephone or ISDN. See the comp.dcom.modems.cable for
more info.

I meant, the demo was only 13 megs to begin with,
so one track file can't possibly be "too big" to
upload.  Just saying it's "too big" immediately
made me question whether you actually had a file,
or if you were pulling our legs - I for one would
have been very disappointed if there wasn't really
a new track available.

Sorry for my original tone.  It wasn't obvious
at first whether you were telling the truth or
not.  It's now apparent that you are.  I can't
wait to try it!
