Come on people, I don't like being the bad guy but time and time again I end
up being just that for simply expressing my view on sim matter..... I'm
accused for not knowing what I'm talking about because I'm not a true sim
fan, Imean I've only been involved in making addons and tracks for as many
sims as I possibly could in my life.....I've only bought every sim I could,
I only just travelled 300 miles a month ago to get myself a proper wheel to
I could compete in that weeks league races since the pots had gone on my old
one.

Come on guys..... I listen to your view, I try to answer questions from
people, but as soon as I have on opinion I'm treated like I don't know what
I'm on about and that I'm the bad guy here.

If you look below, I posted something about Papy. Nothing offensive to
anyone, but just wondering why everyone thinks that these guys can make such
brill sims (which I admit they can) but still think that most manufacturers
make silly arcade games? I was enquiring to this because most people are so
one minded about GPL yet I don't see it, and I'm a great fan of the game.

Anyway, that off the point, this is a NG for sim racers, we all have
opinions and questions, we are all entitled to respond but I had that I'm
always let as the bad guy.....

Never have I found someone to say..... "Yes, I agree" or anything like that.

Now, thats what I came to say... now some fool can come along and make fun
of something I've said in this message.

Yes, I agree too :)

Saying anything negative about Papy is asking for troubles here :)
Don't be so sensitive. I didn't read your message (couldn't find it)
so I can't comment on that. But GPL stands out above other sims in a
B-I-G way, no other sim even comes close to GPL. Yup, that's a fact.
That doesn't mean that people can't enjoy other sims. I love Viper
Racing and sometimes I even have fun with Toca 2 and Colin McRae
Rally. Hell, some people even like Revolt! :)
I find most people on RAS to be very cooperative and friendly. There
are allways some suckers who *** about nothing. Welcome to the real
world! :)

Don't worry you've made some very valid points, just try to filter out
all that juvenile GPL/Papyrus worshipping nonsense - you'll find this
to be a much friendlier place ;).

this is my point! You have come back with a "GPL rules all" answer AGAIN!

Can't you guys start a GPL NG for God sake? I can't take it anymore, its an
NG for all sims and racers of all sims but its 99% made up for one minded
GPL fans.....
I know the only response I'll get is to not come back but I'm entitled to
and I'm entitled to R.A.S., I did not come here because it was called
R.A.S.GPL.

maybe you can start a im.jealous.of.gpl or maybe gpl.haters.bashers NG ;-)

BTW I can't stand racing open wheelers, but I still think GPl is a cool sim.

Well, why not try discussing YOUR favorite sim without being an idiot and
continually
bashing the GPL overtones the newsgroup has these days. Hell, it may change
as soon as the next slew of sims come out, doubt it, but nonetheless.

No one is entitled to anything.

yeah, yeah, but honestly, YOU think GPL is the best sim ever...... allot of
peole tink that BUT not ALL agree.

I'm not lashing out at anyone here. but I subsribe to loads on NG's and
never do I have problems with such childish people in all my life! Again,
its only a minority that are like this, and I don't mean you, but there are
some!

GPL is just about as realistic as Steven Segal movies

Ok, not ALL people agree being GPL the best sim ever. That's fair.
But after we cleared that up, I still don't quite get your problem.
Your problem was that so many people rave on about GPL, that there is
so much posting about GPL? That's because the majority of sim-racers
do like GPL the best. And because it's such an involving sim, people
talk about it so much. You can't have a problem with that do you?
If you don't want to read about GPL, simply don't read these messages?

Or am I seeing things wrong here?
