I wonder if that is the real delay. They can't get it to run well on todays
CPU's etc

The screenies from the '99 timeframe ran on P3 550's with Voodoo 3's and 4's
as far as I know.

And ran well on that spec to.

That "post" was a tongue-in-cheek joke.....germane to the string it was in
well over a year ago.

I did meet with both Chris and Tony at E3...and I did see WSC running on a
system they had setup.  That's all.  I also met with them on and off for
almost a week......in London around the middle of June-2001 (a year ago).  I
obviously can not reveal publicly the details of those meetings as it would
be completely unfair to Chris and Tony to do so.  And, "yes"....I would like
to.....it would add a lot of useful "clarification" of things for this
string and many others related to WSC over the past several months (year).
But I will not.

I can tell you my personal opinion and thoughts about the nature and
character of Chris and Tony West....and their project commitment.  I
immediately liked both of them from the first day I met them.  They were
full of enthusiasm and are hard working people.  They are dedicated to their
WSC project.....I have no doubts whatsoever about that....it is there "baby"
and they will see it through to completion.  They are also two very talented
and creative people.....and an absolute blast to hang out with (which we did
for a day up at Silverstone for an F1 test day).  At their core....they are
die-hard racing fans and both good sim racers too.  I also think both of
them are very honest, sincere and straightforward shooters.....I would trust
them with anything.  This is only my personal views on Chris and
Tony.....for whatever that's worth to some of you.

where is the world going?. I love the video of WSC where the car drives
around the testtrack, and you can see
how well the suspension-model works!.  Im so impressed by it. It seems like
the car really have some wheight!.

I wonder if that "track" will be left in the retail?, i hope so :)

I will probably not get a DX9 card until about 2years. Still im waiting for
SCGT2 also.. :)

I couldnt care less about Audi R8s etc.

Not to mention that its suspension seems to work really good too.

Its just that you get tired of hearing "legal reasons" all the time. :)

I hope some simdevelopers goes to some rich guy that only cares about
racingcars,
like Panoz.. maybe west could ask him for  some money to get the best
sportscar simulation out? :)
