Guys....I was at E3 last year...and this year......and these are my candid
remarks regarding the "speculation" on WSC and Empire and Chris and Tony and
Derek Bell losing a race to me at Brands in a pair of 962's last
week.......in an not-to-be-named hotel room with about 40 "spectators"
jammed into the room:

The progress of this thread from here on is fairly predictable I'd
say.....:-)

If it were vapour ware - would we not have been told from the horses mouth

As it is - it's not that there's nothig to say - it's that nothing CAN be
said.

If it were vapour ware - that couldnot and would not be the case now would
it?

I'm looking forward to it.  If you think it doesnt exist - I'll see you in
the queue to buy it.

Define "Alive & Well" - While I don't doubt Chris & Tony are still working
on their magnum opus my fears are that it is in "Development Hell" - a
constant battle to both finish the sim *and* keep it inline with
current/future tech - usually a sign that the title will never see light of
day or live up to expectations. Also what is the status of the relationship
with Empire?, how does that relationship, or conversely a lack of
relationship affect licensing issues, which are usually 'taken care of' by
the publisher (i.e. paid for), how has licensing with TIR affected WSC?

All rhetorical questions, BTW, but they make my point, while the Wests may
be continuing to develop that is not the be-all and end-all of game
production, their 'forced' lack of communication only leaves doubts &
questions in those that were (are?) interested in WSC's fate.

In answer to your questions, not necessarily, not at all.  Been through
the "hush, hush, can't talk about it" routine before........more than once,
and each time with the same results...........swamp gas :)

Car-editing picture from WSC. Notice all physics-options. Seems to be the
same
as F1 2001 / 2002 to me?.

Yes yes, WSC and the word "patience" in the same sentence sends this
newsgroup towards the apocalypse each time...  we're near it, I can sense it
