Return the game?

Ok for those of you here who seem to think Nascar 4 is so great, and that we should live with any problems it has, or return it.

How do I return this game I purchased from another store?  I doubt Sierra will refund the money, and I know stores won't accept returns of opened software. (on Sierras site it says a 90 day return, but thats for items you buy from their online store).

thus spoke:

Sierra has a 30 day satisfaction guarantee on all software (just like
Microsoft), but you can only get an exchange, no refund. Catch is; you
have to tell them why you don't like it.

Return the game?

ALL Sierra products have a return policy.  I thought it used to be 30 days
(well it was only 30 days at one time) but now I hear people saying 90.

Anyways, if you return it to Sierra they will refund your money.  The only
thing they ask is that you tell them why you returned it.

To give you a example.. a few years ago I bought Kings Quest 7.  I played it
all the way through in a few weeks, then I returned it to Sierra and told
them "I finished the game and I just did not think it was as good as the
others in the series so I am returning it"

A few weeks later, I had my $50 back in the mail.

You can not beat a return policy like that

Sierra should refund your money no matter where you bought it, should be something in the manual in regards to how to go about getting your money back.

Maybe your right. I've only used it once (Outpost in exchange for
AOD). Thought it was exchange only back then, maybe it's changed.

That took balls :)

"I used your product, but I don't need it any more.  Can I have my money
back?"

Slick :)

I'll try that when my Taurus hits 50,000 miles!

Piggyback post...

I think that if the program doesn't WORK on your system, then you should be
able to take it back for a refund(or at least store voucher).  Sometimes even
if your system *meets* the posted requirements, software won't install.  Like
Rollcage 2 on MY system... :(
