      DARIEN, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--August 20, 1997--

Jeff Gordon to Co-Design and Co-Produce Video Game Series with ASC Games

ASC Games, a developer and publisher of video games for Sony
PlayStation, Sega Saturn, and PC CD-ROM, has signed NASCAR Winston
Cup Superstar and current points leader, Jeff Gordon, to a video game
licensing agreement.  As part of the deal, Gordon will co-produce the
racing series with ASC Games.
"This project is much more than a racing game with a celebrity
endor***t.  When you combine Jeff's racing expertise with his
passion for video games, especially racing games, he becomes much
more than just a great name, he becomes a great asset to the
development team,"  said David Klein, President and COO of ASC Games.
"Jeff's hands-on involvement and personal touch will help capture a
level of e***ment that will make this racing series something very
special for fans of racing video games."
The agreement allows ASC Games to publish multi-generations of
Jeff Gordon racing games across a variety of platforms.  The first
game is scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 1998.  Further
details of the games, available platforms and specific release dates
will be available later this year.
"Being in a video game is a great opportunity and a lot of fun,
but to actually work directly with ASC Games to co-produce my own
video game is a whole new experience that I'm really looking forward
to.  I have always been a big video game fan and have wanted to do a
project like this for a long time,"  said Jeff Gordon.  "I'm e***d
about bringing my sport to a generation of video game fans who will
soon become the next generation of racing fans."
At the age of 26, Jeff Gordon has already become one of the most
successful drivers in NASCAR Winston Cup history.  This season,
Gordon's eight victories, including the coveted Daytona 500, has
propelled him to the top of the NASCAR Winston Cup points standings.
In 1996, Time Magazine named Gordon one of the Top Ten Sports Phenoms
of the Year.  During the 1995 racing season, he finished first in the
NASCAR Winston Cup Points standings, becoming the youngest NASCAR
driver of the modern era to win The Winston Cup Championship.  His
outstanding performance in 1995 earned him ESPN's highly respected
ESPY Award for Racing's International Driver of the Year and the
National Motorsports Press Association's American Driver of the Year.
Gordon has also won two of the last three major inaugural races - the
1994 Brickyard 400 and the 1997 NAPA California 500.  In 1993, Gordon
won his first pole in route to becoming the youngest NASCAR driver
ever to win the Rookie of the Year award.
With its corporate headquarters in Darien, Connecticut, ASC Games
has quickly emerged as a creative force in the video game industry as
a developer, publisher and distributor of products for the Sony
PlayStation, Sega Saturn and PC CD-ROM.  As a result of an aggressive
32-bit release schedule during the 4th quarter of 1996, ASC Games
became the only newcomer to debut three PlayStation titles for the
1996 holiday season.

Can't be any worse than Al Unser Jr. Racing from a couple of years

I'm sure that if Jeff's game is anything like his driving it will be a
great game. I hope you get extra points for wrecking Earnhardt too.

No, but you will become overwhelmingly jealous of the game every time it
kicks your ass!  And you will come up with any number of completely
unrealted excuses why the game always wins (or at least 25% of the time)
