Hi,
I own a Thrustmaster T2, the springs off the pedals broke in about 1,5 year
3 times. No I'm thinking about buying the new Thrustmaster wheel (F1 I
think it's called). Has anybody experience with the springs in this wheel?
Are they better?
I have just bought the thrustmaster f1 wheel and i think its very good,the
wheel as a better feel and it attachs to the desk much better.Also the
pedals are bigger and further apart,I would reckomend it.
Stay with the T2.
The F1 wheel isn't better.
If you send your T2 back in, you'll get the new and improved springs in it.
They won't break anymore (at least there not supposed to.)

There have been some reports of broken springs in the new F1/Nascar Pro
pedals. Whether this is due to poor quality control in the springs or
back to a weak design, I don't know. If the only reason you are
cosidering upgrading is to avoid spring breakage, I can't truthfully say
that is a wise decision. I personally like the feel and quality of the
F1/NASCAR Pro setup over the T1/T2.
If you haven't gotten new springs from Thrustmaster lately, you might
want to give them a try. I understand that the design has improved and
they last a whole lot longer. Also, you may want to look into limiting
the travel of the pedals. This simple modification dramatically
increased the life of the springs in my T1.
