How come on some races I get the Newspaper screen after a race and sometimes
I don't.  Does the opposition strength have to be high???

The only time I don't get it is when I win! GRRRRR! What's up with that? I
want my name on the front page as much as the next guy! :)

Make sure the car you are using is selected on the active list in the
Opponent Manager. That did the trick for me.

Since I run a server, I think I can answer that.  If you're doing a 'one-off'
race, you'll see the paper after the race is over.  If it's a dedicated server
looping through races, you won't.  The server will just advance to the next
track.  At least that's been my experience.  There may be a setting somewhere
to override that, but I haven't looked for it.
Hope that helps.

Sorry to put you on the spot..but since you've become a server
guru...here's a question.  Does N4 have commands for booting,
kicking, ejecting misbehaving drivers???
(sorry I haven't even looked at the readmes yet...)

Y'know - I didn't realize this was about N4 until I saw your message...  I
hadn't noticed the title...sorry.  So much for my 'guru' status...<g>
So, my previous suggestion is only a guess, as I don't have N4 yet.  My best
gues for YOUR question would be the same as in GPL.  As boss, type !eject #
followed by the car number you want to kick.

This is from the n4server.txt file

EJECTING DRIVERS

Any boss may remove a player using the "!eject" command.  The command
should be entered as a chat message.  The format of the command is
"!eject player", where player can either be the "#" symbol along with
the player's car number, or the players name.  For example:

        "!eject #12"
        "!eject smith"
        "!eject j.smith"
        "!eject john.smith"
