Heyo,
I posted a few pictures from the Montreal GP onto my website.
http://www.racesimcentral.net/ under "Gallery". There's some pics I thought
would interest the nerds in here that haven't been lucky enough to go to a
GP (like I was until last weekend!) and walk on the track and such. There's
some closeups of the marbles and the some of the curbs, etc.

I definately noticed some inconsistencies with the track compared to F1C,
especially the run-off areas of turn 4, and the final turn 13. But aside
from that, I was actually suprised with how similar it was in quite a few
spots. You really don't get a feel for the elevation changes, because I
assumed the track would be nearly perfectly flat, and it isn't even close.

Yeah, you should go.. If you are low on cash, general admission actually
isn't as bad as most people say it is.

Heheheh :) I was just trying to say that admission prices in Europe are
*much* higher than in USA and Canada. Think 500 US$ or more for a weekend
ticket (seated)

I've been only saying this for the past 5 years here.  Even F1RC isn't
close.

Oh it's close, just not PERFECT. The differences are small enough that it
would only take 1 or 2 laps to adjust. Plus, the circuit is always
changing.. new curbs being added, etc it seems.

I have to admit that I was more partial to the girl pics than the broken car
parts... ;-)

Great pics and commentary, Mike. Thanks. We were hoping to get there
this year, until they started muckin' about with the schedule, on-again,
off-again. I'd prefer not to go to Indy F1 just to keep my money out of
TG's pocket!

Hey if you're as good at finding a piece of  Klien's car when he nosed it
into the barrier in Monaco you could pay for you're trip.
