Are you NUTS :)
Could be innocent, but no one in their right mind is going to continue with
the download. Not under these circumstances :)

Congrats to Greger; what a nice present for Barty. I'm sure he'll enjoy it. Best served cold, eh? ;-)

That alarmest of an attitude is what these virus-maker-***terrorists want
to happen, everyone to be scared to death to actually USE the internet. I
ain't giving in...
Just so you know, it checked out with no problems. Now just to get home to
GPL so I can watch it, hehe.

And it's not being alarmist hesitating to download a deep-linked file from a
posting in a newsgroup that says simply "WOW! Check This:"
Think about it.

My point is the post chose the worse possible way to get people to download
the file.
Or, maybe not. Maybe we HAVEN'T learned anything.
Either way, I digress...

What is the idea of scanning zip file?
Btw, I like having direct link, so I don't have to go through
the web-site.
Alex.
Have a nice new-year.

Last time I checked, opening a zip file couldn't do any damage to
Windows. If it could, then just download/unzip the file in a real
operating system first to check its integrity.

It starts a download immediately? What newsreader are you using?
Mine just displayed it as a hyperlink, and waited for me to do
something about it (my first response was to expand the thread
and read the first few responses ;-)
I might go and download it later, but then again since I was
stuck around 8:25 last time I tried, I might not!
