Well i have a Cyrix P166+ here an don't need a patch to run any of the
Versions of Nascar Racing 1,2,1999..
All works perfect an never had a problem with the cyrix an nascar racing

Timing issues on the Cyrix processors often cause a fatal exception in
VXD.VJOY when starting NASCAR 1999. The Papyrus joystick driver is the
root of this. If anyone gets this fatal exception when launching
NASCAR 1999, simply deleting the VJOY.VXD file from the NR1999
directory will solve the problem. You will have to use the DirectX
joystick driver though.
Cheers,
Chris
