Anyone here have experiance with Zonealarm and WinVroc?
After I installed Zonealarm firewall, WinVroc doesnt work. I get connected
and see
the race-list and chat. When I try to connect to one of the races it screws
up, my screenresolution
changes, startmenu is gone and I have to hit the panicbutton to reeboot. It
even happens when zonealarm
is shut down. I appreciate comments from others with firewalls and WinVroc.

I've been so far that I have even qualified (badly :-), and chatted
after that. And when clicking the green to join, I have been on the
grid. Then the screen has jammed, and only help was to reset.
That has been the best, usually the screen freezes earlier...

And in ZN I have alerts popup off, both VROC and GPL are "allow
connect" and "allow server".

Somebody wrote here that he manages to join like that, some others
have written they cannot... So I couldn't help...  :-(

I also had no success with WinVROC after installing Zone Alarm.  However, I use
Guard Dog as my firewall.  It never even gets reviewed, but it performs well on
the tests you can run at www.grc.com.  Please note that I'm talking about
Version 1 -- not 2 or 3.  I tried Version2, and it was just a resource hog.  If
you can find Version 1 (I got it for $10 at a local computer show), I highly
recommend it.

I have only tried it 2 times on VROC, but did have no problems.
