Pentium or Pentium2?

by Ronnie Bigwhi » Sat, 16 Aug 1997 04:00:00

I'd like to know if my Motherboard will support SDRAM,currently I'm
using EDO with a P100. Also would I be able to use an MMX enabled
processor or must I get a new motherboard. My current motherboard uses
a trition chipset( dont remember which at the moment)that is PCI 2.1
compliant.  THANKS!!   By the way, GORDON and EARNHARDT RULE.

I believe the only condition to fit an MMX processor is that your motherboard
must provide a lower voltage setting (2.9V ?). Chipset has nothing to do with
MMX. Check out www.sysdoc.pair(.com?)
