Anyone running Grand Prix Lengends successfully under XP???

Anyone running Grand Prix Lengends successfully under XP??? I was finally
able to run it under Windows 2000 and Windows 98, but it won't run under XP.
I'm even using the exact same Geforce 3 drivers that I used in Windows 2000.

When I run the game, it comes up, the screen goes black and then the game
screen comes up.  But then shortly after that, I pop back to the desktop.

I've downloaded and install the d3d patch.  When I started the game for the
first time, it asked what video I should run.  Seeing how Geforce3 wasn't
listed I just chose one that I thought might work.  I think I chose 3dfx
glide.  It doesn't ask that question anymore, so how can I change it now to
something else??

Thanks,

Jeff

It works great in winxp

edit the app.ini and change
this:

[ Graphics ]
lastRasterizerDLL = rast3dfx.dll

[ Graphics ]
lastRasterizerDLL = rastd3d7.dll

Floppy's right on the mark. If you have a problem with stuttering in D3D,
download the OpenGL DLL.

   If you chose 3dfx glide it shouldn't work at all.  You don't have a 3dfx
card.  Edit the app.ini per floppy's instructions.
