Man, I've about had it with my T2. Now, granted, I've had this thing for 2
years now, and really it has been a decent piece of equipment for me. But
there's know way I think it can hold up for racing on Ten. Tonight, during
a Wilkes race, my brake spring broke. Pulled out the spare parts, replaced
the spring with what I thought was the correct replacemt, reaasembled and
calibrated. The brake was way to soft, and felt like it was dragging on
it's return up. Off comes the cover again, and I dissamble the brake pedal
once again. I did through my bag of spare parts, and come up with a heavier
spring, coiled only twice. I put it on, what a pain to bend it back behind
that screw, and reassemble. Now, my brake is a lot stiffer than it was, and
is taking a lot of getting used to.
TSW, here I come! Please tell me the springs last longer in it.
