Yes, it certainly was different :)  It was a fun change too.  240mph packs
:)

I quit running it because it turned into a bunch of 'good old boys' running
the low line for 50 laps.

The problem with *anything* running on the client (aside from
spyware/malware concerns) is that it could probably be hacked just as
readily as the game itself.

Maybe when Windows Longhorn comes along, things will get better, at
least in this regard.  If anyone is still making racing sims, that is.

I'm not familiar with Leghorn(other than Foghorn), but wouldn't *everyone* need
to be running said OS?

Presumeably, yes.  And of course, the software would have to be
written to take advantage of its security features.  Whether or not
any of its features will be of any benefit in preventing cheating, I
have no information.
