I haven't race arcade in n2003, but as for N4 and n2002 the speeds are
faster. I've already hit drafting speeds at Dega of 215mph.
.The car handling is better since you're using your sim setup. The rule of
thumb is.. have a great Sim setup you will have a great arcade setup. Have a
bad sim setup, have a bad arcade setup.
You can usually tell when someone is using a Hybrid set. They pull away in
the turns.
Bad thing is, once the set is converted to acd it can not be converted back
to a sim.
Arcade Hybrids were really big during the N4 days. Speeds were faster and
handling was great! Some of the best racing I've ever seen and been involved
in. Most of the people back then helped one another and shared setups.
We could have 15 car drafts nose to tail. Countless lead changes. Usually we
would run 20 lap races and would draft 15 and race the last 5. That helped
out our LPI and most people finished the race and had a good time!
The good ole days when racing nascar was fun.
Now a days all we have are kids and sadly, ***s flaming everyone in sight.
Because of warp or most of the time, their own driving error. Or even a step
further. I just left a Bristol race where the leader had the fastest car,
and he was punting everyone in the turns. He wrecked most of the
field.....ugh!
To many forget this is a game. Folks who run open races are there to simply
have some fun playing a game. Which leads back to what I said a few post
back.. Lose the Track ratings but keep the LPI rating.
