Sure!  I agree.  Any idiot can get that it's from Star Wars.

But which episode? .  .  .  Eh?  .  .  .  . Eh? . . . .

Well c'mon.

Actually, I got rear-ended on the grid because I had to slow to keep
from hitting the car in front of me, and someone behind me wasn't as
concerned about doing me the same favor.  After that, I managed not to
get hit by anyone, but advanced several positions as I passed wrecks in
turns one through four.  I didn't have any offs or spins either.  Except
for being pummeled at the grid, it was a fairly uneventful (and almost
boring) race.

Yeah, come on.  This new "hissy fit of the week" that John S. has
been posting is some of the funniest stuff I've seen.

What?  Oh, you mean he's serious?!?  :)

"But in a way, fear is a big part of racing, because if there was
nothing to be frightened of, and no limit, any fool could get into
a motor car and racing would not exist as a sport." -- Jim Clark

IF you have not seen it, RUN DO NOT WALK to your closest video store and
get;
"Dr. Strangelove: or How I stopped Worrying and Learned to Love the Bomb".

You won't regret it.

PS  If you have seen it already how could you forget the quotes?   ;o)

Oh, yes, that's *so* true!
In fact... Don't just rent it, if you can, *buy* it.

'Yee-ha!' (I believe?)

It's getting worse actually. Over the last couple of weeks I am into nearly
double figures in terms of the number of races where reverse drivers were
present. We had a good spell for a while. Where are all these morons
suddenly coming from?

Well bud, you've been lucky. I can even cite an instance a few days ago at
Spa where there were actually two idiots. M. Tremonti decided that it would
be a good idea to wreck qualifying with his virtuoso display of reverse
driving and donut technique, requiring that we all wait an inordinate time
after qualifying finished until he exited his car. He then proceeded to take
out half the grid before the flag. I personally had to stop at the end of
lap 1 to serve a penalty because his rearending me caused GPL to say that I
had jumped the start. Once he had had hs fun. M. Black took over and met me
at a closing speed of close to 400 mph around the back of the circuit! I
have the replay and it aint pretty.

There have been several occasions recently where I have been in attendance
and reverse drivers have been on track. They have mostly been too cowardly
to use real names, preferring to call themselves "Z" or suchlike.....

Question: If you *watched* this moron screwing up qualifying, why did you even
STAY for the race?  You know there's a jackass in the field - go find another
race...
