A BIG Thanks... Nail that Track

by schwab » Thu, 04 Mar 1999 04:00:00

A big THANKS to Jack Rambo for hosting the weekly "Nail that Track"
series!! :-) It's helped me feel SLIGHTLY more comfortable at Monaco, a
track that I'd previosly taken about 20 laps at... and HATED. Does
shift-R mean anything??

But it takes a lot of time and a committment to host a big race
everyday, week after week.

Anyone who has ever jumped in on this should be thankful. Anyone who has
not gotten in on this... please do! It's loads of fun and there are
racers of all abilities in this 16-car grid. Fast or slow, there is
always someone to race with!

A BIG Thanks... Nail that Track

Well here I am dropping in behind D.S. again.  Could be a pattern here!  No
kidding; thanks to Jack for the Nail That Track series.  Having a good,
scheduled race, long distance, at the same track every day for a week is great
for having some fun while learning the ins and outs of online racing.  It's WAY
more fun than racing the AI (though sometimes a bit more frustrating :-)).  And
besides, he never laughs at my continually expanding list of excuses for
snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.  "Really, man; the dog DID eat my
setup!"

Looking forward to more,

Steve B.
