It does!

A bit (...) later than the PSX verision, but the biggest news is that its
going to differ alot from the PSX verision! The PSX verision is going to be
more of a Arcade and the PC is going to be more Simulation (yes, yes!)

Thats nice ain it`?

Can only dream of  Toca2 with slighly better physics, more realistic damage
model and good multiplayer support! That would really be a hit among us Euros!!

I'm glad to hear it. I hope that the improvements they make between
Toca Touring Cars 2 and 3 will be similar in size and strength to the
changes made in 1 and 2.

Read somewhere that it will feature tracks from all over the world,
hopefully Mount Panorama (used for Bathurst 1000) is in there. btw is there
any game available with this track? I really love the track but it was too
long for GP2 to cope with (the only track editor I could use).

Also, any idea what other tracks could feature? I am not familiar with
Touring Cars outside BTCC and Bathurst 1000.

Is there a chance of 'em licensing the GPL engine....?  = )

Does it also mean they might realise that PCs are equiped with mice?

Those would be GAWDAWFUL tracks for touring cars.  A big appeal to me
of the Super Tourers is the close racing.  Put them on tracks that are
huge straights with a few corners and you lose that tight compact bunch
of cars knocking the snot out of each other.
Last year on Motorsport Mundial they showed a  Touring race that was
on the new Malaysian F1 track, (after the Aussie season was done.)  The
Audi drove away and left the field, it looked like an F1 procession with
each car finding it's own pace and there were big gaps between each car.
For my Money, Mt Panorama is a must, and as many small tight tracks
that they can squeeze on a cd...

Yes Dave, you are right there. But Laguna Seca and Watkins Glen will
be much more fun. Also, there are sure to be many additional tracks
(not yet named) and there arent many other tracks as long as Hockenhiem
(thank god) so hopefully that'll just be an aberration..  even Thruxton
is rather a snoozer to drive!

I guess you'll be voting for a Monaco track then?

Presumably they mean the short circuit at Hoickenheim that the STW uses.
