Ok!. have just add a new ibm 1.7g hdd to quantium 850 to first channel and
have moved cd-rom to second channel. But after changing this several times
with no luck the game seems to hang in menu satuts, but so far not in game.
was woundering if it is different hdd brands or what as l havent got a dam clue
any help please. 850 quantium <master>1.7 ibm <slaved>and cd-rom is master
in secong channel.

Not sure what problem your experiencing but I recently did a change in
my drive partitions after which GP2 couldn't find the CD drive even
though I could see the CD drive fine from DOS.  Had to do a re-install
of GP2 and it worked fine after.
